GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – On Saturday afternoon, the Green Bay men’s basketball team held its final practice before heading on a foreign trip to the Bahamas. The Phoenix will arrive in Nassau on Sunday night and will be playing three games during the trip. Per NCAA rules, a program can participate in a foreign tour during the summer once every four seasons and is allowed 10 days of practice prior to departure.
On Friday, head coach Brian Wardle sat down with Andrew Gavin to discuss the team’s trip and what the team is hoping to experience on and off the court. To hear from Wardle, click here.
On Monday night, Green Bay will play its opening game of the trip at 6 p.m. against the Bahamas All-Stars. The Phoenix will also play Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. against the Cybots and on Thursday at 6 p.m. against the Real Deal Shockers.
