INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. ( - Freshman Gene Kiela (Plymouth, Wis.) finished in third place to lead the Green Bay men's golf team to a second place finish on Tuesday at the Butler Fall Invitational at the par-70 Highland Country Club in Indianapolis. The host Bulldogs won the 36-hole tournament with a team score of 570, 12 shots clear of the Phoenix.

Kiela followed his 1-over par 71 on Monday with a 2-over par 72 on Tuesday afternoon to take third place and lead the Phoenix. Senior Chad Ebert (Kenosha, Wis.) bounced back from a tough tournament over the weekend to tie for sixth place with rounds of 71 and 74. Senior Cam Fuller (Sturgeon Bay, Wis.) was consistent with a pair of 73s to post a top-10 with a tie for ninth.

Junior Dan Ozga (Edgerton, Wis.) and sophomore Tom Boockmeier (Green Bay, Wis.) rounded out the Phoenix golfers, finishing tied for 13th (73-76) and tied for 20th (78-75) respectively.
