Hoffman enters his third season as assistant coach of the Phoenix in 2014.
Working with the goalkeepers, Hoffman saw the duo of Kyle Ihn and Dary DeWalt post a combined 1.78 goals-against average and a .695 save percentage in 2013. The Phoenix went on to end the season with an overall record of 7-7-3 and a 2-4-1 ledger in the Horizon League.
Hoffman was hired by head coach Dan Popik in his first season during the summer of 2012. A Hoffman joined Popik at Green Bay from the University of New Hampshire where he had served as an assistant since 2010.
Prior to his tenure at University of New Hampshire, Hoffman served as the head coach of the Springfield Demize of the Premier Development League in 2010.
The Littleton, Colo. native coached at his alma mater, Drury University, from 2009-2010 for both men's and women's squads. Hoffman helped guide the men's squad to an impressive 21-2 overall record, advancing to the Sweet 16 of the Division II Tournament while the women's squad registered a 13-6 record.
During his playing days at Drury, Hoffman went 19-6-3, recording 12 shutouts as a starting goalkeeper. During the 2007 season, Hoffman established a school record 0.88 goals against average. The four-time Great Lakes Valley All-Academic Team selection graduated ranked third all-time in minutes played (2,215), second in career goals against average (1.00) and sixth in all-time saves (105).
