Colin Schneider completed his second year as Green Bay's director of basketball operations in 2011-12. Schneider was one of head coach Brian Wardle's first hires on his staff, being named to the position in July 2010. He had spent the previous three seasons as a student assistant for the Phoenix.
In his two seasons as director of basketball operations, Schneider oversaw the program's budget, travel, student managers, video editing and film exchange as well as directing Coach Wardle's Camps.
Since taking over as director of Coach Wardle's Camps, camp attendance has increased significantly and new camp offerings have been added.
As a student manager under former Phoenix head coach Tod Kowalczyk, Schneider assisted with film exchange, video editing, production of recruiting mailouts, maintaing the recruiting database and various administrative tasks. He also has experience as a camp coach at various colleges around the Midwest, including Notre Dame, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Marquette and UW-Eau Claire.
A native of New Holstein, Wis., Schneider graduated from UW-Green Bay with a bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Studies. He is currently working on his master's degree in coaching and athletic administration at Concordia University Irvine.
In his time at New Holstein High School, he was a four-year basketball letterwinner and team captain.
