Men's Tennis Falls 4-0 at Butler in Second Match of Season

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay men's tennis team hit the court dropped its second match of the 2017 season, losing 4-0 at Butler on Saturday afternoon.

"Both matches this weekend could have gone either way. DePaul and Butler both earned their wins. I feel if we focus on what we can control and get a couple of duece points to go our way, the matches will start going our way. We will learn from this weeknd and mature as a team," head coach Tim Dean said.

Singles competition

1. Benshatout (BUT) vs. Florian Kraenzler (GB) unfinished

2. Khmindnshvili (BUT) def. Matej Kostadinov (GB) 6-4, 6-2

3. Dragos (BUT) def. Joshua Schramm (GB) 6-4, 6-2

4. Lang (BUT) def. Miles McDowall (GB) 6-0, 7-6

5. Gerstein (BUT) vs. Charlie Ridout (GB) unfinished

6. Adelukun (BUT) vs. Ivan Radomirovic (GB) unfinished

Doubles competition

1. Benshatout/Gerstein (BUT) def. Kostadinov/McDowall (GB) 7-5

2. Khmindnshvili/Dragos (BUT) def. Kraenzler/Ridout (GB) 6-3

3.  Schramm/Radomirovic (GB) def. Lang/Adelkun (BUT) 6-2
