Du Chateau, Kiela Lead the Way at NKU Fall Classic

BATAVIA, Ohio (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Green Bay senior men’s golfer Joe Du Chateau (Fond du Lac, Wis.), paced the Phoenix for the third consecutive tournament at the NKU Fall Classic that wrapped up on Monday.
Du Chateau shot a three-under par 68 in the final round to climb 13 spots up the leaderboard and finish in a tie for seventh place. He shot a 76 in the first round and followed that up with a 72 in the second 18-hole round of the day on Sunday.
Senior Gene Kiela (Plymouth, Wis.), finished tied for 17th after shooting an opening round 73 followed by a 72 in the second round, finishing four-over par in the final round on Monday.
Freshman Chapin Orr (Dodgeville, Wis.), continued his consistent success in his first year with the Phoenix. Orr carded rounds of 73, 74, 74 to finish in 20th place. It was the third consecutive tournament that Orr placed in the top 20.
Green Bay finished 7th as a team in the 11-squad field. The Phoenix will next take part in the John Dallio Memorial hosted by DePaul in Lemont, Ill. beginning on Saturday, Oct. 3.
