Women's Tennis Drops Dual to Youngstown State

GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com)
 – The Green Bay women’s tennis team (1-15, 0-6 HL) continued its Horizon League regular season slate on Saturday afternoon, dropping a 7-0 decision at Youngstown State (7-11, 5-1 HL). 

The Penguins clinched the doubles point with 6-3 wins at No. 1 and No. 2, and proceeded to sweep all six singles matches.

Green Bay will travel to Cleveland State (11-8, 5-1 HL) before matching up with the Vikings tomorrow at 1 p.m.

1. Lackova, Dominika (YSU) def. Olivia Headford (GB) 6-3, 6-0

2. Brendel, Annina (YSU) def. Stephanie Londre (GB) 6-1, 6-2

3. Nsimba, Noelly (YSU) def. Chiara Berg (GB) 6-3, 6-2

4. Sahni, Nehel (YSU) def. Jule-Sophie Hermann (GB) 6-3, 7-5

5. Store, Ana (YSU) def. Samm Pedersen (GB) 6-1, 6-3

6. Ferry, Victoria (YSU) def. Maria Neff (GB) 6-2, 6-1

Doubles competition

1. Sahni, Nehel/Nsimba, Noelly (YSU) def. Jule-Sophie Hermann/Samm Pedersen (GB) 6-3

2. Lackova, Dominika/Macias, Sofia (YSU) def. Maria Neff/Olivia Headford (GB) 6-3
