Green Bay Falls to Detroit on Sunday

GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Amidst five-straight home matches, the Green Bay women’s tennis team (1-11) continued its Horizon League regular season slate on Sunday, dropping a 7-0 decision to Detroit (3-5) at Western Racquet & Fitness Club. 

The Phoenix’s doubles pair of 
Olivia Headford and Maria Neff picked up a 6-2 win at No. 2; however, the Titans ultimately took the doubles point and proceeded to sweep all six singles matches.

Green Bay will return to the court next Friday, when it travels to Milwaukee to take on the in-state rival Panthers (6-7) at 4:00 p.m.
