RUMFORD, Maine - Green Bay skiers Santi Ocariz (Spooner, Wis.) and Carolyn Freeman (Ely, Minn.) completed the 2009 NCAA Skiing Championships Saturday by competing in the freestyle competition. As a team, the duo placed the Phoenix 19th nationally with 35 points.

Ocariz, making his third appearance at the NCAA Championships, finished 29th among 39 competitors in the 20K freestyle with a time of 47:23.8. The junior's clocking was the fourth-fastest among skiers from the Central Collegiate Ski Association. It was his second straight top-30 placement, as he took 27th in the classic race on Thursday.

Completing her first-ever NCAA appearance, Freeman placed 34th in the 15K freestyle with a time of 42:01.6. On Thursday, she took 35th in the 5K classic.
