Women's Soccer Heads to DePaul for Wednesday Match
GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) –
The Green Bay women’s soccer team wraps up a three-match road trip with a contest at DePaul on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Green Bay went 0-1-1 last weekend, losing to Indiana State before finishing in a draw at Drake. Heidi Hartmann (Plymouth, Minn.) scored the equalizer in the 80th minute to send the match at Drake into double-overtime.
This season Hekla Palmadottir (Akranes, Iceland) leads the squad with seven points on a team-best two goals and three assists. Hartmann trails with five points on one goal and three assists. Katy Pilarzyk (Madison, Wis.) and Nastacia Behle (St. Paul, Mo.) have shared time in net, posting a combined 1.55 goals-against average and a .714 save percentage.

DePaul is 4-1 on the season and is currently on a four-match winning streak after dropping its season opener at Valparaiso on August 23. Most recently, the Blue Demons claimed a 1-0 decision over Milwaukee last Friday. Elise Wyatt has the hot foot, already putting up nine points (4G, 1A) this season. Alejandria Godinez has played the majority of time in net, recording a 0.61 goals-against average and a .870 save percentage.
