GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - Green Bay placed four players in double figures and clamped down defensively again on Thursday night, holding Youngstown State to 30.5 percent shooting in a 67-58 victory Thursday night at the Resch Center. Green Bay has now won six-straight at home and improved to 9-9 on the season, 3-2 in the Horizon League.

The Phoenix was led by freshman Jordan Fouse (Racine, Wis.), who tallied 12 points, nine rebounds, two blocked shots and three steals in the win. Fellow freshman Carrington Love and senior Brennan Cougill (Sioux City, Iowa) each scored 11 points off the bench, and junior Kam Cerroni (Sussex, Wis.) added nine off the pine as Green Bay's three bench players combined for 31 points.

Sophomore Keifer Sykes (Chicago, Ill.) had 10 points, six rebounds and three assists as the fourth Phoenix player in double figures. Green Bay made 24-of-30 from the free-throw line, including connecting on 19 of its last 21 attempts. The Phoenix trailed by as many as eight points in the opening half and was tied at 25-25 at the break.

The Phoenix used a 15-1 run midway through the second half to turn a one-point deficit into a 13-point lead (49-36) with 5:45 to play. The Penguins would get no closer than six the rest of the way.

During its six-game home winning streak, Green Bay is holding opponents to just 49.2 points per game and a field goal percentage of 33.2 percent. After outrebounding Youngstown State 40-31, the Phoenix also have a rebounding margin of plus-4.7 during the stretch.

Green Bay returns to action on Saturday afternoon, concluding its four-game homestand with a 1 p.m. contest against Cleveland State.
