Maddie Drusch leads the Phoenix Friday at Wright State.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - The Green Bay women's soccer team (3-8-3, 1-4-1 Horizon League) wraps up its three-match road trip Friday when it travels to Wright State (8-8-0, 3-3-0 Horizon League) for its final regular season road contest of 2010. Game time is set for 6 p.m. CT at Alumni Field.

The Phoenix, currently eighth in the conference, is fighting for one of six spots in the Horizon League Tournament. Green Bay must win its final two games (Friday at Wright State, Sunday vs. Detroit) in order to have a chance to qualify.

Green Bay trails in the all-time series with the Raiders, as Wright State owns an 11-5-3 advantage. The last time the Phoenix won against Wright State was in the 2005 season when it claimed a 1-0 victory at Santaga Stadium (Oct. 7).

The Phoenix enters Friday's match coming off a pair of strong performances. Green Bay picked up its first league win on Tuesday night when it defeated Loyola 2-1 on the road. Last Friday, Green Bay took first-place Milwaukee to the final seconds of the first overtime period before allowing the game's only goal to fall 1-0. Maddie Drusch had six saves in goal for the Phoenix.

Wright State is coming off a 1-0 win over Valparaiso on Sunday, marking the Raiders' 13th one-goal decision of the season. Wright State is 6-7 in one-goal games on the year. The Phoenix has had eight one-goal decisions in 2010, posting a 1-7 record in those matches.
