Chanel Aries and the Phoenix host Valparaiso Sunday.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - The Green Bay women's soccer team (2-7-2, 0-3-0 Horizon League) welcomes Valparaiso (5-6-3, 1-3-0 Horizon League) to Santaga Stadium Sunday at noon for its penultimate home game of the 2010 season.

The Phoenix will be wearing pink warm-ups Sunday in support of breast cancer awareness month as part of Green Bay's Compete to Beat initiative. Sunday is also Parents Day, as the Green Bay women's soccer team will recognize all the parents in attendance.

Both teams enter Sunday's match looking to rebound after their worst defeats of the 2010 season. Green Bay fell 3-0 against Butler Friday night. Prior to Friday, the Phoenix had not allowed more than a single goal in any game this season. The Crusaders come to Green Bay after a 5-0 loss to Milwaukee on Friday.

Green Bay owns an 8-2-1 advantage in the all-time series against Valparaiso. The last time the two teams met at Santaga Stadium the game ended in a 0-0 overtime tie (Oct. 24, 2008).
