Women's Soccer Set to Entertain Cleveland State on Saturday
GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay women’s soccer team returns to Aldo Santaga Stadium on Saturday, hosting Cleveland State in Horizon League action at noon.
The game is the first in a women’s and men’s doubleheader on Saturday, with the men set to take to the pitch against Detroit later in the afternoon.
Saturday’s match will be the 10th all-time meeting between the two squads, with the Phoenix leading the all-time series, 6-3-0. Green Bay is 4-1-0 against the Vikings at home since Cleveland State began sponsoring women’s soccer in 2004.
Green Bay enters the weekend with an overall record of 4-5-4 and a 1-2-0 ledger in the Horizon League. After winning its conference opener against Oakland, the Phoenix has dropped one-goal decisions to Youngstown State (1-2) and Detroit (0-1) on the road.
Heidi Hartmann (Plymouth, Minn.) and Hekla Palmadottir (Akranes, Iceland) continue to lead the team with seven points apiece (2g, 3a) while Hannah Kernen (Belleville, Wis.) has a team-best three goals this season. Hartmann has registered 48 shots this season, the second-best total in the conference.
In net, Nastacia Behle (St. Paul, Mo.) has appeared in 11 of the 13 matches this season, posting a 1.10 goals-against average and a .756 save percentage with three shutouts. Her goals-against average is the third best in the conference.

Cleveland State is 7-7-1 overall in 2013, and is 1-3 in conference action. The Vikings won their conference opening match against Detroit (2-0) but have since dropped three consecutive matches against Valparaiso (1-2), Milwaukee (0-2) and Youngstown State (0-1).
Vickie Havas leads the team with 17 points on seven goals and three assists. Her 17 points and seven goals currently rank third in the Horizon League. Amanda Sivic leads the team and is tied for third in the conference with four assists.
Sarah Wood has started all but one match for the Vikings in net, recording a 1.38 goals-against average and a .836 save percentage. She has made 97 saves this season, the highest total in the conference.
