GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - Green Bay women's basketball head coach Kevin Borseth is one of five area businessmen and local celebrities invited to compete for the title of "Mr. Habitat for Humanity". This year marks the second year for the event which raised more than $24,000 last year and was attended by over 200 people from the Green Bay community.
Borseth will be helping Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity reach its goal of providing safe, decent, and affordable housing for all low-income families in Brown County. With each vote only costing $1.00 each, Phoenix fans are encouraged to vote for Borseth here, as one-third of the contest winner of "Mr. Habitat" is based on the people's choice.
Other contestants in the second annual Mr. Habitat competition include Packers tight end Jermichael Finley, reigning 2011 Mr. Habitat Tim Lau, Gamblers General Manager and Head Coach Derek Lalonde and WIXX radio show host Jake Kelly.
