GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - The Green Bay women's basketball team arrived in Ames, Iowa on Thursday afternoon in preparation for the 2012 NCAA Tournament, its fourth consecutive tournament appearance. The Phoenix, seeded seventh in the Kingston Region, will play at Iowa State Saturday night at 5:30 p.m. CT.
Leading up to the game and while the Phoenix is in action, there are many opportunities to follow the Phoenix live. Whether you are on the road with the team or following from home, fans can keep tabs on Green Bay by watching live media day press conferences and coaches shows, participating in live chats on game day or interacting via Facebook and Twitter.
On Friday, Green Bay will head to Hilton Coliseum to meet the media and practice in the arena. Fans can watch the Phoenix press conference as well as the press conferences of Iowa State, Kentucky and McNeese State. Two seasons ago in Ames, Green Bay held a live coaches show at its hotel while participating in the 2010 NCAA Tournament. The concept has grown into a live weekly coaches show, Inside Phoenix Basketball, and will continue Friday night. Jill Wunrow will host Tournament Talk Friday night at 7 p.m., interviewing Green Bay head coach Matt Bollant about the upcoming matchup with the Cyclones. Junior Adrian Ritchie (De Pere, Wis.) and senior Hannah Quilling (Eau Claire, Wis.) will also co-host a segment of the show. To watch live, click here.

The meeting between Green Bay, the Horizon League regular season and tournament champions and Iowa State, an at-large bid from the Big XII Conference, will take place at Hilton Coliseum on Saturday, March 17 at 5:30 p.m. CT. Green Bay has an unblemished road record of 12-0 while Iowa State is 14-2 this season on its home court. The winner will play either second-seeded Kentucky (25-6) or No. 15 seed, McNeese State (26-7) on Monday, March 19.
