GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - Co-Horizon League Player of the Year Celeste Hoewisch (Hortonville, Wis.) is one of 40 finalists for the 2011 NCAA Division I State Farm Coaches' All-America Team, announced by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).

The 40 finalists are voted upon by WBCA-member coaches in each of the eight WBCA geographical regions. The finalists are now in the running for selection to the 10-member State Farm Caoches' All-America Team which will be announced April 2.

With its program-best 34-1 record, Hoewisch is one of three players averaging 13 points per contest while grabbing 3.7 rebounds and leading the team with 83 steals. Throughout the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, Hoewisch averaged 10 points and 2.5 rebounds per game while leading the Phoenix with five steals.

Hoewisch aided Green Bay to the 38-year-old program's first Sweet 16 appearance. No. 5 seed Green Bay (34-1) will face No. 1 seed Baylor (33-2) Sunday, March 27 at 5:30 p.m. CT at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.
