Green Bay Wins Men's Golf Dual Meet against CSU

Dan Ozga fired an even par round of 72 on SUnday.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - Sophomore Dan Ozga fired an even par round of 72 Sunday to help the Green Bay men's golf team defeat Chicago State in a dual meet at Green Bay Country Club. The Phoenix tallied a team score of 304, easily besting CSU's 348.

Ozga had two birdies on the front and three on the back en route to his 72. Freshman Tyler Schmidt had two birdies and zero bogeys on the card in his front nine while posting a one-over par 73 for the day. Nic Johnson (78), Derek Fiestadt (81) and Chad Bonis (86) rounded out the scoring for Green Bay.

The Phoenix will host the Green Bay Invitational for both the men's and the women's teams beginning Monday at Green Bay Country Club. The event will include 18 holes on both days and begin on Monday morning.
