GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - The Green Bay men's and women's golf teams will open their 2010-11 campaigns on Monday and Tuesday, hosting the Green Bay Fall Invitational. The tournament will begin Monday morning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
The event will include 54 holes for the men and 36 for the women and will be played at Green Bay Country Club. The men's tournament includes 36 holes Monday before concluding with 18 holes on Tuesday. The men will play the 7,097-yard course as a par-72. The women will play a 5,898-yard course as a par-73 and will play 18 holes on both Monday and Tuesday.
Nine teams will compete on the men's side, including Green Bay, Loyola, Chicago State, Lewis, IPFW, South Dakota, North Dakota, North Dakota State and St. Ambrose. The field on the women's side will include Green Bay, Valparaiso, Loyola, Chicago State, Lewis, IPFW, South Dakota and North Dakota.
