Head men’s golf coach Bill Lindmark saw two of his top players graduate, but the Phoenix return a number of golfers with a lot of tournament experience. Senior Dan Ozga (Edgerton, Wis.) won the Green Bay Invitational in 2012 after firing a 1-under par 71 in round two. Ozga’s scoring average of 76.2 in 27 rounds led the Phoenix last year, when he posted five top-10s.

Junior Tom Boockmeier (Green Bay, Wis.) led Green Bay with six top-10s in 2012-13, including a victory at the Butler Spring Invitational. After an impressive freshman season with a scoring average of 76.7, Gene Kiela (Plymouth, Wis.) returns for his sophomore campaign.

On the women’s side, Green Bay returns the 2012 Horizon League Newcomer of the Year Katie Pokrandt (Eau Claire, Wis.). Pokrandt led the team as a freshman in scoring average (82.0) and top-10s (4), including opening her career with a victory at the Green Bay Shootout.

Seniors Grace Abitz (Appleton, Wis.), Molly Fassbinder (Hudson, Wis.) and Jacki Johnson (Neenah, Wis.) are the veterans and lone upperclassmen on a Phoenix squad with seven freshmen and sophomores. Abitz also had four 20-10 finishes and was second on the team in 2012 with a scoring average of 84.1. Returning for her sophomore season, Sammi Grunder (Pardeeville, Wis.) was the third Phoenix golfer with four top-10s last season.
