Women's Golf Competes at Bulldog Florida Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - Junior Christina De Boer (Onalaska, Wis.) carded an 80 in round two to finish in 15th place and lead the Green Bay women's golf team at the Bulldog Florida Invitational. De Boer had rounds of 86 and 80 to pace the Phoenix in the 36-hole event, which was hosted by Butler at Windsor Parke Golf Course in Jacksonville.

IUPUI won the invitational by four strokes over the host Bulldogs. Eastern Illinois, Fairleigh Dickinson and Green Bay rounded out the top-five.

Senior Stephanie Fifield (Oconto Falls, Wis.) had rounds of 91 and 88 to finish in second on the Phoenix and 25th in the field. Senior Eleanor Yorobe (Bloomington, Minn.), sophomore Grace Abitz (Appleton, Wis.) and freshman Renee Christensen (Greenleaf, Wis.) rounded out the Phoenix golfers in 26th, 27th, and 30th, respectively.
