HOWEY IN THE HILLS, Fla. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - Steph Fitfield (Oconto Falls, Wis.) and Eleanor Yorobe (Bloomington, Minn.) are in the top-20 as the Green Bay women's tennis team sits in seventh place after Friday's opening round of the 2011 Horizon League Championship at Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort in Howey in the Hills, Fla.

Green Bay shot a 356 (+64) for the first round with 18 holes also scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in the 54-hole conference championship. Detroit leads the field after firing a 326 (+34) while Loyola (329, +37), Butler (333, +41), Cleveland State (338, +46), Valparaiso (343, +51) and Youngstown State (346, +54) round out the field.

Fitfield and Yorobe both shot 14-over par 87s to lead the Phoenix on Friday. Yorobe was tied for fifth in the field in par-three scoring in the round while Fitfield was in the top-10 in par-four scoring as the pair is tied for 20th.

Senior Ellyn Hansen (Milton, Wis.) is tied for 27th overall for Green Bay after shooting an 89 on Friday while sophomore Christina De Boer (Onalaska, Wis.) and freshman Molly Fassbinder (Hudson, Wis.) rounded out the scoring with a 93 and 96 respectively.
