GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - For the second consecutive week and the 11th time in his career, Green Bay junior diver Daniel Pogue (Chisholm, Minn.) has been named the Horizon League Men's Diver of the Week for the period of Jan. 25-31, the conference office announced Tuesday. It marks Pogue's sixth honor of the season, as he also picked up the award four weeks in a row from Oct. 26-Nov. 17.
Pogue posted an impressive score of 313.55 on the 1-meter board on Saturday for a first-place finish against Illinois Tech. The total was the Horizon League's second highest score of the season.
The Green Bay men's and women's teams host in-state conference rival Milwaukee on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Dorschel Natatorium. It will be the last regular season meet for Pogue and the Phoenix prior to the 2011 Horizon League Championships (Feb. 23-26, Cleveland, Ohio).
