GREEN BAY, Wis. ( - Green Bay swimming and diving head coach Jim Merner has added six student-athletes to his 2012-13 roster, as three men and three women have signed National Letters of Intent (NLIs) in the early signing period.

Signing on to join the Phoenix men next season are Sean Leverton (Blaine, Minn./Blaine), Collin Morgan (McFarland, Wis./McFarland) and Noah Potratz (Waukesha, Wis./South), while Jessie Dinelli (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North), Alexandra Eiler (Markesan, Wis./Oshkosh Lourdes) and Racheal Weiland (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis./Wisconsin Rapids) are set to compete for the Green Bay women's squad.

Read Merner's comments on each future Phoenix swimmer or diver below.

Sean Leverton • Blaine, Minn. (Blaine) Diving
"Sean is certainly a young man that was heavily recruited by our diving coach Tom Stover, and Tom thinks very highly of him. He's a very talented individual and placed very high in the Minnesota boys state championships last year. He has shown a lot of steady improvement and we're very excited this young man is going to join us next year."

Collin Morgan McFarland, Wis. (McFarland) Sprint Freestyle, Breaststroke
"Collin was part of the McFarland High School state championship teams that have been making history by winning it every single year, so he is a winner. He's an excellent sprinter, sprint freestyler and is also becoming a very good sprint breaststroker. I'm excited that he chose to be part of our team."

Noah Potratz Waukesha, Wis. (South) Distance Freestyle
"Noah is the best distance freestyler coming out of the state of Wisconsin this year. If you take his times, probably his slowest race is the 500 freestyle, which he won the state championship in last year. He's a great 1650 and 1000 free swimmer. His times in both of those swims as a junior would have been top-eight swims in our Horizon League Championships, so we've really excited about Noah joining our program."

Jessie Dinelli Northbrook, Ill. (Glenbrook North) Diving
"Jessie is a great diver who is the sister of (Green Bay sophomore) Carrie Dinelli. She has shown a great deal of improvement over the last couple of years, and though she didn't have a great high school state championship meet, this girl is one of the better divers coming out of the state of Illinois this year."

Alexandra Eiler Markesan, Wis. (Oshkosh Lourdes) Backstroke, Butterfly, Freestyle
"Alex is a great backstroker, butterflyer and freestyler who has not yet seen what she can really do. She lives about 40 miles away from Oshkosh where she goes to high school and she's been commuting her entire career to her practices and school. I think once she settles into a scenario where she can just walk five minutes and she's at the pool, she is going to do extremely well."

Racheal Weiland Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. (Wisconsin Rapids) Breaststroke, Freestyle
"Racheal I think is truly an up-and-coming swimmer. She is an excitable kind of person - very upbeat. She's a very hard worker, she's got great goals in front of her and she's versatile. I'm really excited about Racheal and can't wait to see what she can accomplish."
