NASSAU, Bahamas ( – Junior Keifer Sykes (Chicago, Ill.) finished his foreign tour with another stellar game, scoring 26 points and putting Green Bay in front with a three-point play with under 30 seconds to play as the Phoenix defeated the Real Deal Shockers 75-71 on Thursday night.

Senior Vincent Garrett (Chicago, Ill.) gave Green Bay a 68-65 lead with seven-straight points in the fourth quarter. The Phoenix led 70-66 before a banked in three-pointer and two free throws put the Shockers ahead 71-70 with a minute to play.

After a timeout, Sykes went to the rim, scored and was fouled. The 5-foot-11 point guard converted the free throw for a 73-71 advantage. The Phoenix got a stop and junior Greg Mays (Chicago, Ill.) grabbed the board and was fouled. Free throws by Sykes and Mays gave the Phoenix its third win on the trip. Mays had his third-straight solid game, finishing with nine points and nine rebounds.

Sykes, who averaged 24 points per game as Green Bay went 3-0 in the Bahamas, added nine steals and five assists.
