GREEN BAY, Wis. ( - The Green Bay (2-10-4, 0-4-3 HL) men's soccer team closed its 2012 season with a 1-1 double overtime tie against Horizon League regular season runner-up Cleveland State (9-5-3, 4-1-2 HL) Saturday at Aldo Santaga Stadium. The game marked the program-high sixth double overtime contest this season for the Phoenix.

Green Bay's lone goal of the contest came early in the 36th minute from senior Alonso Flores (Chicago, Ill.) who was playing in his final collegiate game. Midfielder Ahmad Bah (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) beat his defender to find Flores in the right side of the box who then beat goalie Brad Stuver for the 1-0 lead. The goal was Flores' career-high third of the season and Bah's team-high second assist.

Early in the contest (15:05), Green Bay senior goalkeeper Ryan Wehking (St. Louis, Mo.) made a tremendous save when Cleveland State's Cazz Warren tried to score on the keeper. Wehking was one-on-one with Warren who fired from the right side of the box but with Wehking's quick reflex reaction raising his left arm, was able to keep the Vikings out of the net.

Both teams closed the first period with three shots each while Flores led all players with two. On the defensive side of the ball, Wehking finished the opening period with two saves.

Cleveland State was able to score the equalizing goal in the 67th minute when Admir Suljevic found Zach Ellis-Hayden in the front of the box on the right side.

Shortly after the Vikings' goal, Green Bay's Sebastian Xiong (Cottage Grove, Wis.) fired a shot from 40 yards out and missed just to the right of the goal.

Both teams finished regulation with seven shots each while Cleveland State registered four of its six corner kicks in the second period.

Green Bay's closest look at the goal in overtime came five minutes into the first overtime period when Flores took a shot on the right side of the box that was rebounded by Sam Krenzien (Wauwatosa, Wis.) for a shot of his own only to be denied by Stuver.

Cleveland State edged the Phoenix 3-2 in shots in both overtime periods before finishing the game with 10 shots compared to Green Bay's nine. Flores led all players with four shots in his final game while Wehking made three saves in the 110 minute contest.

Flores finished his career with the Phoenix having played in 52 games while starting 24. The forward recorded a career-high three goals, two assists and 27 shots in his senior campaign. Flores finishes his career with Green Bay with eight goals, four assists and 59 shots, 30 on goal.

Wehking shuts out his career with the Phoenix as the fifth player from his family to play at Green Bay. Having played and started in 70 games, Wehking finishes his career ranking fourth in both goals-against-average and saves (260) on Green Bay's individual career record lists. Wehking is also Green Bay's all-time leader with 20 career shutouts.
