GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - The Green Bay (2-7-3, 0-2-2 HL) men's soccer team will look to move up in the Horizon League standings as it continues its three-game road stretch with a trip to Loyola (1-7-2, 0-1-2 HL) Saturday, Oct. 13 at Loyola Soccer Park at 7 p.m. With a win, the Phoenix would move up to third or fourth place in the Horizon League standings. Green Bay is currently in sixth place while the Ramblers are in eighth heading into Saturday's game.

Green Bay enters Saturday's contest after playing its fifth double overtime game this season, the most double overtime games in a single season in the history of the program. In a four-day span Green Bay battled Milwaukee to a 2-2 double overtime tie Oct. 3 before playing Valparaiso to a 1-1 double overtime tie Oct. 6.

Saturday's game will be the first for the Phoenix in seven days, its longest span of rest between games up to this point in the season.

Eight players have scored goals for Green Bay this season with Kirby Allen (Appleton, Wis.) leading the way with three goals in nine games while Alonso Flores (Chicago, Ill.) and Sam Krenzien (Wauwatosa, Wis.) have each added two goals in 12 games. Allen ranks in the top 10 in the league with seven points, ranking ninth among players and is one of eight players with three goals on the season.

As a team Green Bay leads the league with 61 saves on the season while Loyola ranks fourth with 51 saves. On the offensive side of the ball, Green Bay's Ahmad Bah (Brooklyn Park, Minn.), Whitney Browne (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) and Krenzien rank seventh and ninth respectively among league players with Bah and Browne taking 27 shots and Krenzien 24.

SCOUTING THE RAMBLERS... Loyola entered the 2012 season as the reigning Horizon League Tournament champion. The Ramblers battle the Phoenix Saturday after giving up two early goals against cross-town rival UIC Oct. 10 at Flames Field, eventually falling 3-1 to the Flames.

As a team Loyola ranks eighth among Horizon League teams with seven goals. Sophomore forward Andrew Raymonds leads the Ramblers with 24 shots on the season, ranking ninth among all league players.

ABOUT THE SERIES... Saturday's game will be the 24th meeting between these two teams with Green Bay holding a 14-6-3 series lead over the Ramblers and a four-game winning streak. Saturday will also be the first time in six games that Green Bay has traveled to Chicago to battle the Horizon League opponent.
