Women’s Basketball Set to Host Selection Show Watch Party Monday

GREEN BAY, Wis. ( – The Green Bay women’s basketball team will learn its draw for the 2017 NCAA Tournament on Monday evening, and the Phoenix (27-5) squad welcomes fans to join in on the action at the Kress Events Center for a Selection Show Watch Party on Monday, March 13 at 6 p.m.

Head coach Kevin Borseth and the Green Bay women's basketball team invites all Phoenix fans to join them on Monday night for a Horizon League Championship Celebration and an NCAA Selection Show Watch Party. Doors will open to the Kress Center at 5:30 p.m., with the event being free to the public. Concessions will also be available for purchase at the Kress Events Center front desk.

Green Bay clinched an automatic berth into the 2017 NCAA Tournament on Tuesday afternoon, defeating No. 3 Detroit Mercy, 64-52, to solidify its appearance in the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time in the past nine seasons.

The 64-team NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship field will be exclusively unveiled on ESPN during the NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Special on Monday, March 13, at 6 p.m.
