As an office assistant in the Green Bay athletics department, Debbie Sanders works as a receptionist and also assists the Athletics Director and Associate Athletics Director. Sanders previously worked in the admissions office as well as the campus dining service.

She has been married for 33 years and has three children and three grandchildren.
