A graduate of UW-Green Bay, Jeanne Stangel began working on campus in 1995. She is an Associate Athletics Director/Senior Women's Administrator and the Director of the Phoenix Fund. Stangel oversees the Phoenix Fund, which is the major fundraising tool of Green Bay athletics. She also is the sport administration for men's and women's tennis and volleyball. Previous positions held include the Government and Community Relations Director, special assistant to the chancellor, compliance director and student-athlete enhancement services. Stangel is active in the community, as she is involved in the Green Bay Preble Optimists, Leadership Green Bay, Management Women and the Women's Fund of Green Bay. She is a Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce member and a volunteer for Power of the Purse, Terror on the Fox, St. Kilian's Parish and youth coaching programs.
