DETROIT, Mich. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) —The Green Bay women’s basketball team will look to complete the Michigan sweep as it faces Detroit on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.

Fans can listen live to the game on Green Bay's new radio partner, WNFL 1440 AM. The live audio with Bruce VandenPlas on the call will also be available for free via GreenBayPhoenix.com or on the Green Bay Phoenix App on IOS and Android devices. The game will be available online for free through the Horizon League Network, and live stats will also be provided through DetroitTitans.com.

Saturday’s game will be the 47th meeting between Green Bay and Detroit, with the Phoenix leading the all-time series 39-7. The Phoenix has won the last four meetings, with the Titans last winning, 70-58, on February 2, 2011 at the Kress Center. Green Bay has not lost in Detroit since they were handed a 71-55 defeat on February 4, 2010.

Green Bay is coming off of a 74-58 win over Horizon League newcomer Oakland on Thursday. Tied at 12-all with 9:42 remaining in the first half, the Green Bay women’s basketball team put together a big 24-9 run to close the half as it improved to 11-7 overall and 4-2 in the conference while Oakland dropped to 8-12 overall and 3-4 in the league. Freshman Mehryn Kraker (West Allis, Wis.) finished the game with 16 points, shooting 5-of-7 from the field and 4-of-5 from deep. The defense was also strong, limiting Oakland to 35.1 percent shooting for the game while holding its leading scorer, Elena Popkey, without a field goal.

This season Detroit is 3-17 overall and winless in the Horizon League at 0-7. In their last game against Youngstown State the Titans led the undefeated Penguins 40-37 at halftime, but they were unable to hold on for the win as they fell 80-71 on Wednesday. A familiar face is in command of the Titans, who are led by former Green Bay assistant Autumn Rademacher. Detroit has three players averaging double-digit scoring, led by Senee Shearer (20.3), Ellisha Crosby (17.5) and Megan Hatter (11.7). Crosby also leads the team with 7.4 RPG, while Tayelor McCalister has a team best 3.2 APG and 1.3 SPG.
