GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - Green Bay junior Kam Cerroni has decided to leave the men's basketball program for personal reasons, head coach Brian Wardle announced on Thursday.
"This is a sad time for all of us to hear Kam's decision not to remain a part of this basketball program," said Wardle. "On behalf of our staff, I thank him being a part of our program and wish him all the best in his future."
A native of Sussex, Wis., Cerroni played in 73 games during his three seasons with the program, starting 24 times and averaging 5.6 points per game.
"I have made the decision to leave the program for personal reasons," said Cerroni. "I have appreciated being a part of the program and University but feel it is in my best interest to move forward and look for a new opportunity."
