GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - After playing four straight on the road, the Green Bay volleyball team (9-9, 1-4 Horizon League) returns to the Kress Center Tuesday night to begin a three-match homestand against Chicago State (2-18, 0-2 Great West) at 7 p.m. It will be the final non-conference contest of the season for the Phoenix, which aims to snap a three-match losing streak.

LIVE COVERAGE
Tuesday's match between Green Bay and Chicago State will be broadcast on a tape-delayed basis by Time Warner Cable Sports32, with the first showing being Wednesday at 7 p.m. Matt Menzl and Scot Frassetto will be on the call for the match, which will air five times on Sports32 between Wednesday and Sunday.

Fans can follow the match live with streaming video and live stats on GreenBayPhoenix.com. The official Green Bay volleyball Twitter (@GBPhoenixVB) and Facebook (Green Bay Phoenix Volleyball) accounts will also be posting live updates throughout the match.

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
Green Bay has never lost to Chicago State, owning a perfect 18-0 record all-time. The Cougars enter Tuesday's match with a 2-18 overall record in 2012, including a 0-2 mark in Great West play. Both of the squad's wins this season came at the Coppin State Tournament (Aug. 31-Sept. 1), where the Cougars beat North Carolina A&T and host Coppin State by 3-1 margins to leave Baltimore, Md., with a 2-2 record.

Chicago State is paced by senior Sydney Van Munster, who has a team-best 115 kills, averaging 2.25 per set while hitting .225. Van Munster is also the Cougars' leader in blocks, tallying 41 in 51 sets played.

LAST TIME OUT
Green Bay is coming off a tough road trip to Chicago over the weekend where it dropped a pair of Horizon League contests at UIC and Loyola. The Phoenix was swept 3-0 by the Flames on Friday night, and then fell 3-2 to the Ramblers in a contest it led 2-0. Lyndsay Zabkowicz (Oak Creek, Wis.) led the Phoenix at Loyola with a match-high 20 kills, while Katie Mroczenski (New Berlin, Wis.) tied her career high with nine total blocks.

PHOENIX NOTES
Despite the three-match losing streak, Green Bay has still won six of its last 10 matches. Prior to the three-game skid, the Phoenix had won eight of 11 matches between Aug. 31 and Sept. 26 ... Green Bay ranks first in the Horizon League in digs per set (17.90), led by senior Brittany Groth, who is averaging a conference-best 6.04 per set. Groth is one of just five players in all of NCAA Division I volleyball averaging over six digs per set, and her 6.04 mark is currently fourth nationally ... Groth has 1,606 digs for her career, the second-highest total in school history. The Phoenix senior needs 184 more to surpass Megan Elfering (1,789 from 2005-08) as the school's career digs leader ... With a pair of solo blocks over the weekend, senior Carmen Leitermann now has 94 for her career and needs just three more to tie Marie Kaland (97 from 1992-95) atop the all-time list ... Green Bay is second in the Horizon League in blocks per set (2.22), close behind Youngstown State (2.23). Mroczenski leads the way for the Phoenix, averaging 1.18 per set.

NEXT ON THE SCHEDULE
Following Tuesday's meeting with the Cougars, the Phoenix resumes Horizon League play against Valparaiso on Friday (7 p.m.) and Wright State on Saturday (4 p.m.).
