GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Athletics Department had 64 student-athletes honored as members of the 2010 Horizon League Spring Academic Honor Roll, the League office has announced. Each of the school's 14 league-sponsored sports was represented by at least two Phoenix student-athletes, and more than one quarter of the university's total student-athletes were named to the list.

For the second consecutive semester, the men's soccer team racked up the most honor roll members, totaling 9. That group was followed by volleyball (7) and women's soccer and women's swimming and diving (6). Both the women's basketball and softball teams each had five honorees.

Candidates for the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll must meet three criteria in order to qualify: 1) participation in at least one of the league's 19 sports during the most recent (or current) season; 2) completion of three semesters as a full-time student at the same member institution; and 3) a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) as of Dec. 31, 2009.
