GREEN BAY, Wis. (Nov. 6, 2009) - Green Bay's (9-17, 4-9 Horizon League) four-match home streak came to an end at the hands of first-place Cleveland State (24-6, 12-2) Friday night at the Kress Center. The Vikings picked up a 3-1 win (25-27, 19-25, 25-19, 20-25) in the next-to-last weekend of the regular season.

Green Bay extended the match by winning the third set with a strong late flurry. With the score tied, 16-16, the Phoenix went on a 3-0 run and never looked back. Another 3-0 spurt just moments later accounted for the six-point win.

She was one of three Green Bay players to post a double-double. Whitney Schott (Roscoe, Ill.) tallied 47 assists and 12 digs and Nikki Hintze (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) had 16 digs and 10 kills.

Carmen Leitermann (Schofield, Wis.), with 11 kills, and Abbey Gitter (Hortonville, Wis.), with 10, added to Green Bay's balanced offensive attack.
