DETROIT, Mich. ( --- The Green Bay women's tennis team played its fourth Horizon League match of the season on Sunday afternoon, taking the court versus Detroit Mercy. The Phoenix was unable to pick up a point against the Titans, falling 4-0 in the match.

"Detroit is a solid team with depth in every spot. Congratulations to them on beating us today," head coach Tim Dean said. I see just as much talent on our team as I do in Detroit Mercy. We need to believe we can be competitive. We need to do a better job of playing our game, and sticking with our game plan.

"The difference I see between us and other teams is that other teams execute and play consistent. If we play within our abilities and focus on what we can control, the matches will begin to go our way. We played hard all weekend and I saw several positives to build on. It comes down to a few deuce points and unforced errors. That's tennis and we again will continue to learn and work hard. I'm proud of our effort this weekend."

The Titans (6-8, 2-0 HL) won No. 1 and No. 3 doubles points before clinching wins in No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6 singles competition.
