GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay women’s soccer team will take to the pitch at Aldo Santaga Stadium one final time this season as it hosts Wright State for senior day at 1 p.m.

Seniors Ellen Joppe (Green Bay, Wis.), Ahna Logan (Roseville, Minn.), Hekla Palmadottir (Akranes, Iceland) and Renee Therrien (Winnipeg, Manitoba) will all be honored before the match for their contributions to the Phoenix women’s soccer program.

GreenBayPhoenix.com caught up with the quartet to reflect on their time in Green Bay in anticipation of their final home match. Below is a brief capsule for each player:

This year she is tied for the team lead with seven points and was named the Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week earlier this season after finishing the Phoenix Soccer Tournament with a goal and two assists. Hekla will graduate this spring with a dual degree in mathematics and business administration.

The Phoenix is 4-7-4 overall and 1-4-0 in the Horizon League this season. The squad has not won a match since it opened the conference season with a win against Oakland on September 27. However, Green Bay is 4-2-1 at home this season where it has outscored its opponents, 8-3.
