GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - The Green Bay men's and women's basketball programs welcomed members
of the media to the Kress Events Center on Tuesday afternoon for the annual
basketball media day. Head coaches Kevin Borseth and Brian Wardle
addressed the media and online viewers on the state of their respective
programs with practice underway and the 2012-13 season fast approaching.

Women's
basketball seniors Lydia Bauer (Lake Zurich, Ill.), Sarah Eichler
(Grafton, Wis.) and Adrian Ritchie (De Pere, Wis.) represented the women's
team while junior Alec Brown (Winona, Minn.) and sophomore Keifer Sykes (Chicago, Ill.) attended the event from the men's basketball team.
During
the event, Jill Wunrow caught up with Borseth, Wardle, Bauer, Ritchie and Sykes
for a Phoenix Flix feature "Behind the Scenes at Media Day". Watch the video below.
Borseth
and the women's basketball team are just 11 days away from hosting an
exhibition game against Judson on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. at the Kress
Events Center. The team will also host an exhibition contest against Michigan
Tech on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.
The
Phoenix men's team, beginning its third season under the guidance of Wardle,
will host St. Norbert in its lone exhibition game on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 7
p.m. at the Kress Center. Green Bay will also hold a Green and White scrimmage
on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 3 p.m., a game which is free and open to the public.
