GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - The Green Bay athletics department will host the Phoenix Men's Basketball Tailgate on the Bart Starr Plaza at the Resch Center on Oct. 6, welcoming season and Pick 5 ticket holders and kicking off single-game ticket sales for Green Bay's game against Marquette on Dec. 19. The tailgate party from 2-5 p.m. will feature the band Spin playing live music, a chance to interact with the Phoenix players and coaches, autographs, raffle prizes, free food and an area designated for kids.

All season ticket and pick 5 package holders are invited to the event, and any person who purchases a ticket to the Marquette game that day will have the first chance at the best tickets for the showdown with the BIG EAST team and will gain entry to the tailgate. Green Bay-Marquette tickets can only be purchased this day in-person at the Resch Center box office. Season Ticket and Pick 5 packages will also be for sale at the box office.

All ticketholders and purchasers will also receive raffle tickets for chances to win a number of great prizes, including a Buffalo Wild Wings Phoenix Watch Party for 12, an autographed Phoenix Basketball and a $100 gift card to the Phoenix Team Store, two Citizen Watch Co. watches from Diamonds and Gold, tickets to the Green Bay game at Wisconsin, and the grand prize - a suite for 16 people for the game against Marquette.

While the live music from Spin will be the primary entertainment, raffle prizes will be announced throughout the event in conjunction with interviews with Phoenix players and head coach Brian Wardle.
