HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - Junior Chad Ebert (Kenosha, Wis.) was named to the
All-Horizon League team for men's golf, as announced at the awards dinner
Thursday night at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. The 2012
Horizon League Championships for men's and women's golf begin Friday at
Mission Inn.
Ebert, a junior, led the
Phoenix in 2011-12 with a scoring average of 74.5. He posted six top-10 finishes
in eight events this season, including three top-five efforts. Ebert had a
season-low score of 68 while finishing in third place at the Butler Invitational.
In the 2011 Horizon League
Championships, Ebert finished in eighth place to lead the Phoenix to help Green
Bay to a fourth place finish.
This year's 54-hole tournament
will begin Friday morning and continue through Sunday. Live scoring updates are
available throughout the championship and can be accessed on GolfStat.com for
both the men
and the women.
