Green Bay's Pogue Tabbed as Horizon League Diver of the Week

GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - After posting a pair of career-best scores in Green Bay's regular season finale at Milwaukee on Saturday, Phoenix diver Daniel Pogue (Chisholm, Minn.) was selected as the Horizon League's Men's Diver of the Week on Monday for the period of Jan. 30-Feb. 4.

The senior standout swept the diving events in Green Bay's loss to the rival Panthers, propelling him to his 16th-career diver of the week award and fourth of 2011-12. Pogue took the 1-meter competition with a score of 376.12 before winning the 3-meter board with an impressive 381.97 - both personal bests.

Pogue and the Phoenix have two weeks to prepare for the 2012 Horizon League Championship Meet, held Feb. 22-25 in Milwaukee.
