GREEN BAY, Wis.
(GreenBayPhoenix.com) - With the Kris Kelderman era in full swing, the Green Bay men's soccer
team will recognize 42 years of Phoenix soccer Saturday, Sept. 24 as it honors
all alumni of the successful program. Several activities for the 2011 Men's
Soccer Alumni Weekend have been planned to provide an opportunity for the 375 alumni
of the program to reunite, laugh and share memories.
Friday, Sept. 23 at
6:30 p.m. the annual
alumni game will be held at the men's practice field on the UW-Green Bay
campus. Following the alumni game, a social will be held at Vintage Liquor
Emporium (119-1/2 S. Washington St.) at approximately 9 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 24 at 9
a.m. alumni are
invited to golf nine holes at The Woods (530 Erie Rd.). Lunch will be served at
noon where the players of the current 2011 team and coaching staff will be
introduced.
From 6:30-9 p.m. a cash bar will be available in the alumni
tent in the south end zone of the field. Green Bay (3-2-1) will host Loyola
(1-5-1) in its Horizon League opener at 7 p.m. Prior to halftime alumni are
encouraged to head to the field where they will be introduced at halftime of
the game.

Season
tickets and Fall Sports Passes are now on sale for men's soccer, as well as women's
soccer and volleyball. Season tickets for each sport are available for $25
each, or a Fall Sports Pass can be purchased for admission to all three sports
