The Green Bay
women's golf team wrapped up the Chicago State Cougar Classic Tuesday, finishing
in a tie for 8
th place with Horizon League rival Valparaiso.
Butler
University won the tournament with a combined score of 622. Green Bay shot a
combined team score of 651 (+65), firing nine shots better than Monday's
opening round.
Ellyn Hansen (Milton, Wis.) shot 80 in her final
round, finishing tied for 10th place in the 86-player field, with a
combined score of 157 (+13). Hansen led the tournament with 25 pars.
Sophomore Nicole Westcott (Mequon, Wis.) and
freshman Cassandra Marschall (Marshfield,
Wis.) shot the lowest scores of the day for the Phoenix firing 78 shots.
Westcott finished the event in 26th place with a combined score of
162 (+18). Meanwhile Marschall shot 168 (+24) to finish in 44th
place.
Eleanor Yorobe (Bloomington, Minn.) also finished
with a two-day score of 168 (+24) rounding out the scoring for the Phoenix in
44th place.
