GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) After watching its season-long eight game winning streak snapped at home on Wednesday night, the Green Bay women's basketball team will look to bounce back on Saturday afternoon against Cleveland State at the Kress Center.

Green Bay (17-4, 7-1 HL) suffered its first defeat at home this season and dropped its first game since a Dec. 28 contest at Dayton. The Phoenix still stand at the top of the Horizon League, leading second-place Wright State (6-2) by a game.

Cleveland State (13-8, 5-3 HL) is fresh off a 75-73 OT victory at UIC on Wednesday night, and has now won three-straight games overall. The Vikings own a 4-6 road record and are led by two players averaging 16.6 PPG and 16.0 PPG in Cori Coleman and Imani Gordon, respectively.

PROMOTION: Festival Foods Family Game and Alumni Day.

STREAKS SNAPPED
Green Bay saw two streaks come to a screeching halt in Wednesday's three-point defeat at the hands of Oakland. GB ended an eight-game winning streak overall and a seven-game winning streak at home. It was the first time the Phoenix has allowed 70 points or more since Dec. 28 at Dayton.

FOLLOWING A LOSS
The Phoenix is a perfect 3-0 following a loss this season, winning those three games by an average of 10.3 points per game. Two of those games came at home, with GB knocking off Western Michigan (70-55) and Davenport (53-40), while winning at Purdue in double overtime (81-78). Other notable stats in those three games include a +7.0 rebounding margin and an average of 17.3 assists in each game.

MIDWAY POINT
With eight league games under its belt and eight more remaining in the regular season, Green Bay is at the midway point of the Horizon League season. The Phoenix narrowly missed out on a perfect 8-0 start to the conference season, but instead will have to settle on a 7-1 midway-point conference record. Last year GB boasted a 6-2 record at the midway point, before finishing 7-1 down the stretch. If Green Bay is going to win its 17th-straight Horizon League Championship, it's going to need to fend off the reigning tournament champions in Wright State.

vs CLEVELAND STATE
Green Bay escaped Cleveland a few weeks ago (Jan. 22) with a four-point road victory (65-61), which gave the Phoenix its fifth-straight win and a 4-0 league record. That win increased GB's all-time record lead over CSU to 56-5. It was also the ninth-straight win in the series for the Phoenix.

ON THE HOME STRETCH
Four of the next five games for Green Bay will be played inside the doors of the Kress Events Center. Five of the final eight overall will be played at home and should Green Bay host the HL Tournament for another season, it could potentially play eight of its final 11 at the Kress Center. GB is 7-1 at home this season and lost just its 13th game in the history of the facility on Wednesday.

APPROACHING NO. 600
One of the most successful coaches in women's basketball history continues to climb up the win column. Head coach Kevin Borseth has now amassed 596 wins in his coaching career, after adding 17 this season. That leaves Borseth four wins away from 600 career victories, an accomplished milestone. Entering the season Borseth ranked 26th in winning percentage among active coaches and 18th in victories. He also began the season 32nd all-time in women's coaching victories.
