- When Detroit visits Green Bay on Saturday, Feb. 9, the men's basketball contest
at the Resch Center will tip off at 1 p.m. CT. The game against the Titans will
be featured as the Horizon League Game of the Week, the conference office
announced recently.
With the announcement, the Phoenix will now appear on the
Horizon League Game of the Week, which features a premier Saturday afternoon conference
matchup, in four of the eight weeks this season. The first meeting between
Detroit and Green Bay was also a HLN Game of the Week, with the Titans posting
an 84-76 win at Calihan Hall. In its other home HLN Game of the Week, Green Bay
defeated Cleveland State 77-50 at the Resch Center on Jan. 19.
This weekend, Green Bay will make its third appearance in
the weekly tilt, playing at Loyola on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT. With Jim Barbar
and Joel Cornette on the call, the contest will be televised live regionally,
including on Time Warner Cable's Sports32 and CSN Chicago.
