GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - No. 11/12 Green Bay senior Julie Wojta (Francis Creek, Wis.) is at the top of her game posting five consecutive double double performances in the month of February. The 6'0" forward recently earned her fifth Player of the Week honor, was named to the Capital One Academic All-America Second Team and is a mid-season Wade Trophy Watch List addition.

The team captain continues to climb her way up Green Bay's career record lists with her performances. Wojta ranks in the top 10 in seven career statistical categories including fifth in points (1,498), sixth in rebounds (775), and steals (256), eighth in field goals made (580) and free throws made (268), 10th in field goals attempted (1,168) and tied in eighth with 336 free throw attempts. Wojta is just one of three Phoenix players in program history to be in the top six in both scoring and rebounding and her current career scoring average (12.7) ranks eighth on Green Bay's career record list.

With her current scoring average of 19.4 points per game, Wojta is on pace to finish her career at least fifth all-time in scoring. On Feb. 11 against Wright State, Wojta posted a career-high 30 points, 20 rebounds and four blocks, setting a Kress Center record in blocks, rebounds, in addition to grabbing eight steals.

On Jan. 7 at Milwaukee, Wojta grabbed a Horizon League and program record 12 steals (11 in the first half) in Green Bay's 88-53 win while pouring in a game-high 27 points in 25 minutes of play.

"It has been really fun to see Julie's growth," said Green Bay head coach Matt Bollant. "Every year she's become stronger, more confident, more outgoing and it's been fun to see her confidence grow; she's a great player. I'm not sure there are many more complete basketball players. She just does everything so well at such a high level, it's astonishing."
