GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - The Green Bay men's basketball team has rescheduled
its Horizon League game against UIC on Saturday, Jan. 15 to 11 a.m. at the
Resch Center. The contest was originally scheduled for 7 p.m., but has been
changed due to the Green Bay Packers' upcoming playoff game against the Atlanta
Falcons, which is also scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday.
Due
to the 11 a.m. start time, all adult tickets for the game will be sold for just
$11 each. Youth tickets will be sold for $7 each as usual. Saturday's contest
will also be a Family Game, with families receiving four game tickets and four
hot dogs, four small sodas and four popcorns for just $38. The players will come
out after the game for Free Throws with the Phoenix.
Green
Bay has won the first two games of a four-game homestand, including a 69-64
victory over Milwaukee on Saturday. Head coach Brian Wardle's team will also
host Loyola in a Horizon League contest on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
The
Green Bay women's basketball game against UIC slated for 2 p.m. on Saturday,
Jan. 15 will be played as scheduled at the Kress Events Center.
