MARCH 16, 2010 - Reservations are now being
accepted for a possible fan bus to Ames, Iowa to cheer on the Green Bay women's
basketball team in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Sunday, Mar. 21.
Two options are being presented depending on the
outcome of the first-round game. Cost includes coach bus transportation and
hotel stay at the team hotel, Hilton.
For the first round game the bus departs at 8:00
a.m. sharp Sunday, Mar. 21 from the Kress Events Center. Cost for an individual
is $162 or $212 per couple.
If the Phoenix does not advance the bus would
depart Monday, Mar. 21 at 8:00 a.m. to return to Green Bay.
Should the Phoenix advance to the second round game
Tuesday, Mar. 23 at 8:30 p.m. the bus would depart Wednesday, Mar. 24 at 8 a.m.
to return to Green Bay. Cost for an individual is $280 or $336 for a couple.
For fans traveling on their own, tickets are
available by calling the Green Bay ticket office at (920) 465-2625. Ticket cost
is $16 for the first round or $27 for both rounds. Fans are welcome to book
rooms at the team hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn (1325 Dickinson Ave. Ames, Iowa
50014) by calling (515) 233-8000. Those booking rooms at the Hilton should ask for
the Green Bay group rate of $109 per night.
A minimum of 55 people are needed to secure the
bus reservation so act now and come witness history in the making for the Green
Bay women's basketball program.
