About the Series:  For the second consecutive season Green Bay will face in-state rival Milwaukee in the Horizon League Tournament. Nine seed Milwaukee beat Valparaiso Monday night to advance to Wednesday's quarterfinal game against top-seeded Green Bay.

Last season both teams met in the tournament championship game where the Phoenix beat the Panthers 65-41, earning an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. It was the first tournament League championship for the current Phoenix squad and the first under the leadership of head coach Matt Bollant. This will be the third time in four seasons that Green Bay and Milwaukee will face each other in the post-season.
